Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically sound Sales Engineer specializing in Virtualisation and VDI solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Citrix, VMware, and a solid grasp of virtual infrastructure both on-premise and cloud-based. The role involves presenting and promoting virtualisation solutions to enterprise customers and supporting the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to positioning and closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present and promote Citrix and VMware-based virtualisation and VDI solutions to clients across verticals.
  • Provide pre-sales consultation and technical validation for server, desktop, and cloud virtualisation solutions.
  • Understand client infrastructure and recommend tailored virtualisation architectures (on-premise & cloud).
  • Promote integrated solutions involving Server, Storage, Desktop, WAN Optimization, and virtualization management platforms.
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities; drive consultative solution selling.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of market trends, competitive solutions, and OEM relationships.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and technical teams to ensure complete and scalable solution delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships in the Delhi NCR market.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the Delhi NCR IT sales ecosystem.
  • Solid understanding of: Citrix and VMware stack
  • Virtual desktops (VDI), application virtualization, and infrastructure management
  • Server, Storage, WAN optimization technologies (Cisco, NetApp, HP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of both cloud-based and on-premise virtualisation solutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and solution positioning skills.
  • Market awareness of IT & ITES OEM offerings and competitive technologies.
  • Proven track record in prospecting, qualification, and customer engagement.

Education

  • Graduate in any discipline or equivalent experience
  • Technical certifications (e.g., VMware VCP, Citrix CCA/CCP, Oracle, AWS) will be an added advantage
