Location: Bangalore North, Karnataka

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 2–5 Years (adjustable as per need)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Test Engineer with a strong background in mobile platform testing, particularly in the gaming domain. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with tools like Charles Proxy and GameBench, and be passionate about mobile games. You will be responsible for designing test plans, executing tests, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications.
  • Perform manual testing on Android and iOS platforms, ensuring functionality, performance, and user experience meet the highest standards.
  • Utilize Charles Proxy for network traffic inspection and debugging.
  • Use GameBench to analyze performance metrics like FPS, CPU, memory, and battery usage.
  • Report and track bugs with clear documentation and reproduction steps.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks and also collaborate effectively with QA and development teams.
  • Participate in product reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Stay updated with trends in mobile gaming and testing methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Expertise in mobile application testing with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Experience using Charles Proxy and GameBench is mandatory.
  • Ability to create, execute, and manage test plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Genuine passion for games and understanding of gamer behavior and expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or related field.
  • Prior experience in game testing or working with game development teams.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
