About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Storage Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on expertise in HPE storage solutions, SAN/NAS technologies, and enterprise storage environments. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing complex storage infrastructures and responding promptly to critical incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain HPE storage solutions including Allerta, StoreOnce, and Scality.
- Administer SAN switches (especially Brocade), including zoning and storage masking.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for SAN/NAS environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve storage-related incidents and alerts.
- Work on replication technologies and disaster recovery (DR) processes.
- Handle user service requests related to storage provisioning and access.
- Support backup and data protection strategies using enterprise-grade tools.
- Troubleshoot UNIX/Linux/VMware based environments and provide cross-platform support.
- Ensure compliance and data integrity, especially in regulated environments like BFSI.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years of relevant experience with enterprise storage solutions.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of HPE/Scality/Brocade/S3/NAS products.
- Experience with SAN switch management, especially Brocade zoning.
- Familiar with replication technologies, DR, and backup strategies.
- Good understanding of Operating Systems (Linux, Unix) and Networking fundamentals.
- Experience with VMware virtualization and storage integration.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident/request/alert management.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle critical issues independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in SAN/NAS or HPE storage technologies.
- Prior experience in the banking domain or compliance-driven environments (e.g., PCI-DSS).
- Hands-on exposure to S3 object storage solutions and NAS environments.
- Experience with automation scripts for storage and infrastructure tasks.
Soft Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
