Job Description
As a Sr. Purchasing Analyst in Oracle’s Global Purchasing Team, you will be responsible for reviewing purchase requisitions, creating purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with Oracle’s procurement guidelines and supplier contracts. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive process efficiencies across a wide range of commodities including IT, Telecoms, Marketing, Facilities, Legal, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Review approved requisitions and create purchase orders in line with Oracle’s Global Purchasing/Finance policy.
- Action notifications for PO changes and extensions.
- Collaborate with strategic teams, requesters, and support teams to deliver end-to-end purchasing solutions.
- Identify, propose, and support implementation of process efficiencies and improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Any Graduate.
- Experience: 2–3 years in a shared services environment.
- Strong ability to follow desktop procedures and work instructions.
- Detail-oriented with logical thought process.
- Good analytical skills and ability to solve problems independently.
- Proactive, self-starter, and capable of challenging existing conventions.
- Strong communication and influencing skills across different levels of hierarchy and business functions.
