Job Description

Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst with 1.5 to 5 years of experience in manual software testing to join their team in Chennai.

Job Type: Permanent

Experience: 2 – 3 Years

Work Mode: Office Only

Salary Range: ₹2,10,000 – ₹5,20,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Design & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Manual Testing: Identify software defects through detailed manual testing processes.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with product and development teams to interpret and clarify business requirements.
  • Defect Tracking: Log and manage defects, ensuring resolution through coordination with developers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
  • Reporting: Present clear, concise test reports and findings to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Propose improvements to enhance testing processes and efficiency.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1.5 to 5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and system testing
  • Ability to convert business requirements into well-structured test cases
  • Proficient in test documentation and defect tracking tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exposure to automation testing is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
