Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright, Python, and AI-enhanced testing to join our QA team. You’ll be developing robust automation solutions, optimizing workflows, and collaborating across teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain test scripts using Playwright with Python for complex web apps.
  • Manage automation suites (sanity, smoke, regression, API) and integrate with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Handle large datasets using SQL/NoSQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for test data and AI models.
  • Fine-tune scripts and AI models to ensure scalable, accurate, and efficient test execution.
  • Troubleshoot test failures and provide detailed, actionable reports (HTML/JUnit XML).
  • Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and data scientists to align testing efforts.
  • Document automation processes and derive test cases from user stories.
  • Stay updated on Playwright, AI, and test automation trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS, AI, Data Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years in test automation, with a focus on Playwright + Python.
  • Experience in AI-driven testing (e.g., test optimization, defect prediction).
  • Proficient in Python, with knowledge of Java/JS/C# as a plus.
  • Familiar with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Skilled in SQL, REST API testing, pytest, and Playwright fixtures.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD tools.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Knowledge of financial systems or fintech.
  • Certifications in AI or test automation (e.g., ISTQB, Google ML Engineer).
  • Familiarity with Git and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
