Role Overview:

As Team Manager – Production Engineering (BPA), you will be a key part of Hero’s Plant Operations team, reporting to the Section Head – Production Engineering (BPA). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless battery pack assembly (BPA) operations by establishing robust process engineering, infrastructure, and safety standards to support production needs and market demand efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage new line installations and battery pack assembly operations to support timely new model production and launches.
  • Ensure production capacity aligns with the model mix and central planning requirements.
  • Execute Capex and continuous improvement projects to deliver targeted savings and efficiencies.
  • Handle IDTL procurement and monitor associated costs at the plant level.
  • Support production engineering activities to enable uninterrupted battery pack assembly operations.
Qualifications:
  • Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience: 4–8 years in Battery Pack Manufacturing Engineering or related Projects
Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of production systems like MOST, TPM, IMS, 5S, and DWM practices
  • Deep technical knowledge of battery systems, assembly line processes, and product issue resolution
  • Proficiency in manpower planning and team management
  • Experience in project handling and capital investment execution
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, and SAP
