About the Role

As a Systems Development Engineer 1, you will contribute to delivering unique customer solutions by designing, testing, and validating server and hardware systems. You will collaborate with engineering leads to create development plans that meet customer goals and ensure high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver assigned system interfaces with design and process across extended teams.
  • Prepare documentation for inspection and testing procedures.
  • Design, develop, and implement cost-effective testing and troubleshooting methods for systems and equipment.
  • Develop test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures, and complete specifications for new products.
  • Execute hardware validation including multi-socket CPU systems, RAID/storage topologies, GPUs, and network configurations.
  • Validate server components such as PCIe cards, CPUs, memory modules, and storage devices using structured test methodologies.
  • Apply firmware and BIOS updates, perform system diagnostics, drive-level stress testing, and OS installations across Linux distributions.
  • Maintain detailed test plans, logs, and failure analysis reports.

Essential Requirements

  • 0–5 years of hands-on experience in hardware validation and end-to-end server handling.
  • Knowledge of configuring and validating server setups and components.
  • Experience with system diagnostics, OS installation, and testing procedures.
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills for failure analysis.

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Experience developing automated test framewo0rks and process improvements to enhance test coverage and product reliability.
