About the Role:
We are seeking a cloud-focused Solutions Architect with strong experience in insurance domain architectures, enterprise application development, and API-driven system design. The ideal candidate will collaborate directly with clients to assess business needs, design scalable and compliant cloud solutions, and oversee the implementation of advanced insurance systems. This role requires deep knowledge of PAS insurance platforms, data strategy, and integration with external systems (e.g., claim management and payment gateways), alongside a strong technical foundation in Java, React, and modern cloud ecosystems (AWS/GCP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to analyze requirements and define tailored solution architectures.
- Design scalable, secure, and cloud-ready solutions for Policy Administration Systems (PAS).
- Lead API architecture and data strategy, ensuring seamless system integrations.
- Apply TOGAF/Zachman frameworks to guide enterprise architecture practices.
- Oversee payment gateway integrations and third-party insurance system integrations.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Delivery Managers to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Ensure designed solutions comply with industry standards, data security, and regulatory guidelines.
- Evaluate off-the-shelf components and assist in selecting optimal technology stacks.
- Monitor implementation phases to ensure architectural integrity and client satisfaction.
- Stay current with cloud innovations, open-source technologies, and low-code platforms.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- 6+ years in solution architecture roles, with proven experience in the insurance vertical.
- Expertise in PAS insurance systems, data architecture, and API design.
- Strong technical background in Java/React and enterprise-grade cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Hands-on experience with PaaS/SaaS architecture and microservices-based applications.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols (SSO, SAML, OAuth) and identity federation.
- Experience designing solutions in both Relational (SQL) and NoSQL environments.
- Exposure to low-code platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and client engagement skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- TOGAF / Zachman (Architecture Frameworks)
- Cloud Certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
