About the Role
Our client is looking for a Software Test Engineer with strong experience in DO-178C compliance, Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V), and embedded software testing. The role involves hands-on testing, documentation, and certification support for safety-critical software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain all required software testing artifacts as per DO-178C standards.
- Develop and execute test cases and procedures for unit, integration, functional, and system testing.
- Conduct code reviews and perform static analysis for MISRA C compliance.
- Perform software testing using LDRA / Coverity tools.
- Support certification documentation and coordinate with certifying agencies.
- Review and verify software artifacts, producing detailed review reports per DO-178C.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (BE/B.Tech) with First Class.
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in software testing and validation.
- Strong knowledge and implementation experience with DO-178C processes.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Experience in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) activities.
- Expertise in testing tools such as LDRA and Coverity.
- Familiarity with VxWorks, GNU Tools, and Linux environments.
- Experience with Safety Level ‘B’ or higher is preferred.
