Job Description

Accops is looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer II / III to join our engineering team in Pune. You will be part of a dynamic environment, working on next-generation secure remote access products. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about Linux systems, network programming, and scalable software development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Accops product requirements.
  • Understand and maintain existing product modules.
  • Contribute to code reviews, version control, and product backlog management.
  • Ensure timely delivery of assigned development tasks with high quality.

Technical Skills – Mandatory

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in C & C++ programming.
  • At least one project involving socket programming on Linux with POSIX threaded model.
  • Experience in developing/debugging multi-threaded, real-time systems.
  • Solid understanding of Linux OS and development environment.
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts and the HTTP protocol.
  • Awareness of OWASP standards and network security principles.
  • Basic understanding of software architecture.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Mercurial, or Perforce.

Technical Skills – Good to Have

  • Understanding of Linux kernel internals.
  • Experience with design patterns.
  • Network programming knowledge in ADS, LDAP, DNS, Load-balancers.
  • Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes and container technologies (Docker, etc.).

Soft Skills – Mandatory

  • Strong analytical/logical skills.
