Software Engineer – Core Integrations (.NET, MS SQL, API Development)

About the Role

Comscore is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join our Core Integrations team. This role focuses on building and maintaining business process integrations and automations for back-office systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including .NET, MS SQL, and API development, and will contribute to improving efficiency across internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance business process integrations and automation solutions using .NET and MS SQL.
  • Design and implement APIs to integrate with internal and external systems.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for web and console applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and non-production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies.

Core Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–2 years working with Microsoft technologies (.NET/C#, MS SQL, API development).
  • Experience developing both web and console applications.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud services (preferably AWS).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Shift Timing

  • Typically 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST, covering US and India business hours.
  • Initial 4–6 weeks of onboarding may require US Eastern time hours.
