Description: Analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or new development work.
Summary
As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing applications with a focus on GuideWire PolicyCenter. You will work in a collaborative environment to build scalable solutions, ensure application performance, and deliver value to clients. You will also mentor junior developers, contribute to technical decisions, and continuously drive improvements in development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in GuideWire PolicyCenter.
- Analyze, design, code, and test application components for client solutions.
- Perform maintenance and enhancements to existing applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to cross-functional decision-making.
- Provide solutions to complex problems for immediate and broader team needs.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance team efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in GuideWire PolicyCenter.
- Solid understanding of application development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with software testing and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in a team-oriented environment.
Additional Information
- Minimum 5 years of experience in GuideWire PolicyCenter required.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full-time education is mandatory.
