Job Description

5D Solutions Inc. is seeking one (1) Software Developer under the occupational classification 15-1252 “Software Developer”. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative software solutions aligned with modern enterprise technology standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement software applications to meet client requirements.
  • Apply modern software engineering principles, including microservices architecture, containerization, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following industry best practices.
  • Ensure system security, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, and continuous integration/deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve technical issues.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and emerging technologies.
  • Flexibility and creativity in solution design leveraging microservices, containers, and cloud platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
