About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced ServiceNow OTM Technical Lead (P5) with deep expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, and ConnectedOps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow modules in large-scale enterprise environments, driving automation, and ensuring data accuracy across operational technology (OT) systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow ITOM modules including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Cloud Observability.
- Set up and configure MID Servers, manage CMDB data, and integrate with Service Graph Connectors (SGC).
- Ensure seamless alignment of CMDB data through automation, discovery, and data imports.
- Work closely with architects to design and deploy technically feasible solutions across enterprise systems.
- Document all configurations, development steps, and procedures; prepare training materials for stakeholders.
- Implement and support the CSDM framework for Operational Technology (OT), ensuring end-to-end data alignment and governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Develop scripts for automated processes (e.g., Business Rules, Script Actions).
- Support OT visibility and OT Service Management modules within ServiceNow.
- Train users and stakeholders on new processes and best practices.
Required Skills & Expertise
- 11–15 years of IT industry experience with at least 5+ years hands-on in ServiceNow platform administration and development.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- ServiceNow CMDB
- ITOM Discovery & Service Mapping
- Service Graph Connectors (SGC)
- Cloud Observability & Governance
- ConnectedOps & Cloud Insights
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DMZ zones, Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud).
- Working knowledge of Windows, Linux/UNIX administration, and PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with SQL queries and database architecture.
- Exposure to OT networks, Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and the Purdue Model architecture.
- Excellent documentation, training, and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Prior experience implementing OT Visibility and OT Service Management modules in ServiceNow.
- Experience implementing CSDM framework for OT data alignment.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow governance and cloud insights modules.
