Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PCB Design Engineer (Sr. ECAD Engineer – Altium Tool) to join our Electronics team. The role involves PCB design, DFM implementation, and manufacturing file generation, while working closely with cross-functional and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance, quality, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead PCB design using Altium tool, ensuring compliance with high-speed and analog design requirements.
  • Manage Library Part Creation, Placement, Routing, DRC setup, and error clearance.
  • Generate and verify manufacturing files: Gerber, Step, .dxf, BOM, netlist, CAM, and DFM verification (Valor Tool).
  • Design and implement high-speed PCBs (DDR4, LPDDR, PCIe, MIPI 10G+, etc.).
  • Ensure EMI/EMC compliance and impedance-controlled design.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address technical and production challenges.
  • Support prototype builds with vendors and contribute to design reviews.
  • Maintain engineering documentation and implement design changes.
  • Recommend and validate PCB stack-ups and power distribution networks.
  • Apply IPC standards and guidelines across all design processes.

Desired Skills & Nice-to-Have

  • Strong knowledge of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis.
  • Ability to interpret SI/PI reports and implement design corrections.
  • IPC certification preferred.
  • Experience conducting PCB design reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Tech/BE in Electrical / Electronics & Communication.
  • 8+ years’ experience in PCB design (minimum 5 years in high-speed PCB design).
  • Hands-on expertise in high-speed, power rails, and analog PCB designs.
  • Strong understanding of DFM/DFT/DFX requirements and manufacturing processes.
  • Practical experience in PCB file generation, validation, and checklist adherence.
  • Excellent ability to interpret component datasheets and create accurate library parts.
  • Solid understanding of EMI/EMC concepts and implementation in PCB layouts.
