About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and backend application development. The role involves building scalable, high-performance applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to best development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications using Java.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs with frontend systems.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
- Work closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing.
Must-Have Skills
- Core Java: OOP, Collections, Generics, Exception Handling, Multithreading
- Frameworks: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, ORM
- API Development: RESTful Services, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger
- Database: Strong SQL skills (MySQL / DB2)
- Build & CI/CD: Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Testing: JUnit, Mockito
- Java 8 features (lambda, streams, functional programming)
- Basic knowledge of AWS
Good to Have
- Experience with Microservices Architecture
- Familiarity with AWS / Azure cloud platforms
- Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, JMS)
