Job Description

Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift Timing: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST (US Eastern hours during 4–6 weeks onboarding; occasional late hours for global meetings)

About the Role

Comscore is seeking a Senior Data Analyst – Audience Analytics to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets across digital, mobile, OTT, and TV platforms. The ideal candidate will provide actionable insights to internal teams and external clients, support sales initiatives, and lead analytic projects that drive business decisions. This role involves data modeling, hypothesis testing, and creation of dashboards and reporting tools while collaborating across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data investigations and take ownership of solutions and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Data Analysts, Managers, Client Insights, and other teams for timely execution of analytic projects.
  • Provide sales support through feasibility reviews and detailed data analysis.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client insights on assigned projects.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and streamline repetitive analytic tasks.
  • Develop technical paths and frameworks to solve open-ended client problems.
  • Research new tools and methods to enhance analytics capabilities and productivity.
  • Escalate issues when necessary and navigate internal teams effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–4+ years in data analytics, preferably in audience, panel, internet behavior, or television data.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, JSON, and other database query tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL and analytics tools such as Alteryx, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to translate SQL queries into scripts for automation and execution.
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills.
  • Ability to research and implement new analytic tools and methods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to provide and accept constructive feedback.
