Senior Consultant / Manager – Technology Strategy & Transactions (SaT)

Position Overview
EY is a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Strategy and Transactions (SaT) practice, focusing on Technology Strategy and Transaction Advisory. This role involves leading complex client engagements across the transaction lifecycle, supporting strategic decision-making, and delivering high-impact technology solutions during mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large and mid-sized client engagements across the transaction lifecycle
- Advise senior stakeholders on transaction strategy and value realization
- Manage technology workstreams across applications, data, cyber, infrastructure, and IT operating models
- Drive IT due diligence, technology diligence, and cyber diligence engagements
- Lead post-deal activities including separation, integration, cutover, and Day-1 readiness
- Develop and deliver technology strategy, cost optimization, and value realization initiatives
- Build strong relationships with regional partners and global EY teams
- Contribute to business development, RFPs, proposals, and solution development
- Develop Points of View (PoVs), thought leadership, and market-driven offerings
- Manage, mentor, and develop consultants and analysts

Mandatory Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Business Management from a premier institute
- 8–12 years of relevant consulting experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Technology Strategy, Transaction Strategy, or Technology Transformation
- Hands-on experience managing large transaction or complex transformation programs

- Technology aspects of M&A, Divestitures, and Carve-outs
- IT, Cyber, and Technology Due Diligence
- Post-deal execution: Buy & Integrate / Sell & Separate
- Separation and integration planning, standalone models, TSA costing and exit
- Application, infrastructure, and data separation
- Cutover management and Day-1 readiness
- Technology cost optimization and IT financial management
- Cloud economics, TBM, IT budgeting, and value realization
Business Development Experience
- RFP responses and opportunity pursuits
- Winning and delivering mid-to-large consulting engagements
- Client presentations and executive-level discussions
