Role Purpose
To lead business analysis for payment system initiatives by ensuring accurate requirements, seamless integration, and compliance with industry standards. The role requires strong analytical capability, excellent communication, and effective stakeholder management, along with deep understanding of the payments ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Interpret complex business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Create detailed process flows, data mapping, and integration specifications for payment gateways, issuing/acquiring systems, and fraud management tools.
- Participate in design discussions and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business teams, technology teams, and external partners such as payment processors.
- Facilitate workshops, manage expectations, and ensure timely delivery of requirements.
- Support QA teams in defining test scenarios and validating end-to-end payment flows.
- Participate in UAT and production verification for payment-related functionalities.
Preferred Skills
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for managing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and SQL for requirement management and data analysis.
- Familiarity with payment gateways, APIs, and system architecture.
- Knowledge of payment processes such as authorization, settlement, reconciliation for credit/debit cards, gift cards, etc.
- Understanding of customer disputes and chargeback handling.
- Experience working in Agile methodology.
