Role Overview:
As a Senior Account Executive – Cybersecurity, you will lead sales efforts for OpenText’s Cybersecurity portfolio in the GCC/Named Accounts segment. You will focus on Security Operations Centre (SOC), Application Security, Identity and Access Management (IDAM), and Data Security solutions, building long-term customer relationships and achieving revenue targets through strategic business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to meet order and revenue goals.
- Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close complex cybersecurity deals.
- Lead proactive campaigns to expand customer opportunities and build reference accounts.
- Sell across the Cybersecurity portfolio, including SOC, Application Security, IDAM, and Data Security.
- Create and execute strategic account plans to drive incremental revenue.
- Maintain competitive and market knowledge to position OpenText effectively.
- Collaborate with partners to drive joint revenue opportunities.
- Engage with C-level executives to deliver consultative solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years’ experience in cybersecurity sales, with proven success in large/complex deals.
- Expertise in selling to GCC/Named Accounts.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity solutions and competitive landscape.
- Proficient in consultative and solution selling techniques.
- Strategic business planning and execution skills.
- Ability to balance long-term relationship building with tactical deal closing.
