Position Overview
The Security Control Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and governing security controls across on-premise and cloud environments to ensure strong data protection, regulatory compliance, and organizational resilience. The role focuses heavily on Data Loss Prevention (DLP), encryption, and security governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage security controls across on-premise and cloud platforms
- Implement and monitor Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions
- Manage encryption for data at rest and data in transit
- Conduct periodic security audits and compliance assessments
- Ensure adherence to internal security policies and standards
- Implement technical and operational security controls
- Support incident response and remediation activities
- Collaborate with SOC, architecture, and IT teams to improve security posture
- Track and report security control effectiveness and risks
- Ensure compliance with global security and privacy regulations
Mandatory Skills
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools
- Encryption technologies and standards
- Security control implementation and monitoring
- Incident response and troubleshooting
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with SOC operations and SIEM tools
- Experience with security audits and risk assessments

- ISO 27001
- GDPR
- Information Security Governance and Controls
Experience & Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in Information Security / Security Controls
- Strong hands-on experience in DLP and encryption solutions
- Experience working across hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
