Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with strong backend development expertise and hands-on experience in building and integrating web applications, services, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate must meet all core technical requirements and possess the ability to work effectively in a Unix/Linux environment.

Required Skills (Must Have):
  • Core Python: Strong programming and debugging skills
  • Web/App Servers: Experience with IIS, Tomcat Apache, or JBoss
  • Web Services: Proficient in SOAP and RESTful service development and integration
  • Data Formats & Parsing: Deep understanding of XML, XSLT, JSON, REGEX
  • Databases: Experience working with PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or MySQL
  • Networking Tools: Familiarity with NetConf, Yang Modeling, and tools like Tail-f/NCS/NSO
  • Operating Systems: Strong background in Unix/Linux environments
Desired Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Knowledge of Microservices architecture and deployment
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals
  • Experience in Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, OpenStack)
Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Certifications in Python development, Web Services, or Networking are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain backend services and applications in Python
  • Design, build, and integrate web services using SOAP/REST
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Interface with databases and manage schema, queries, and data modeling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for solution architecture and performance tuning
  • Support deployment and operations in Unix/Linux environments
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous integration pipelines
