Role Overview:
As a Project Leader – Testing, you will lead large or complex end-to-end testing projects or programs. You’ll be responsible for planning, strategizing, leading test teams, driving automation initiatives, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and engaging stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage test strategy, estimation, and resource planning
- Lead and track progress across all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Conduct DRB and defect management meetings; handle stakeholder communications and escalations
- Review test deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational quality standards
- Ensure adherence to testing processes and organizational policies
- Drive process improvement initiatives, automation tools, and productivity accelerators
- Guide and mentor testing team members and handle performance reviews
- Identify training needs and ensure team skill development
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership in managing large-scale testing projects
- Expertise across STLC, test planning, and defect lifecycle
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills
- Experience with test automation strategies and process optimization
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices
