Job Description

Location: Pune, India

Position Summary:

The role involves providing analytical and operational support to sourcing activities, including commercial and technical evaluations, stakeholder coordination, and supplier engagement. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks, maintaining documentation, and facilitating smooth execution of sourcing processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compare and prepare commercial/technical synopses for decision-making.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Operate SAP, p-First system, and MS Excel for sourcing activities and data management.
  • Assist the team in completing time-bound sourcing activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and organize records for easy future retrieval.
  • Engage with suppliers and service providers to monitor phase-wise progress of activities.
  • Highlight issues to the team in case of delays or deviations from process steps.

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to multitask with quick response time.
  • Capability to work in a high-demand, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of imports, exports, purchasing, and vendor engagement (preferred).

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred).

Experience:

  • Prior experience in commercial/technical analysis, sourcing support, or supply chain functions.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and p-First system.
  • 2–5 years of relevant work experience (fixed-term contract role).
