Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to develop, manage, and maintain accurate product data that reflects MillerKnoll’s offerings. This data enables the specification and configuration of our furniture products in software platforms such as CET Designer and pCon. The role involves managing, processing, and automating product data while ensuring accuracy and consistency prior to release for development and integration. This role is pivotal in supporting product development, spare parts catalog management, and visualization technologies, ensuring product data integrity across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage data vocabulary content for MillerKnoll’s custom extensions.
  • Analyze changes to Herman Miller’s product vocabulary and evaluate impact on CET tools; make updates and test accordingly.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across products, including options, pricing, and representation.
  • Build and maintain product vocabulary for 2D/3D visualization (models converted from CAD formats, bill of materials, texture materials, etc.).
  • Perform self-testing and validation of data before submission to QA for review.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to collect and process data for software platforms (CET Designer/pCon).
  • Work with legacy system teams to establish data exports and automated synchronization processes.
  • Provide first-level technical support via team support email/phone line for data-related issues.
  • Understand client/dealer requirements and communicate effectively at all stages of projects.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical, Civil, or related field.
  • 6+ years’ experience in data analysis, product data creation, and manipulation.
  • Proven experience with PIM/PDM systems or similar product data management tools (mandatory).
  • Experience with scripting languages (MS Access, MS SQL, etc.) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data version control best practices.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, QA, Development).
  • Experience troubleshooting both technical and functional issues.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to meet product release cycle deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts (12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST).
