Role Overview:
We are seeking a Procedure Writer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The role involves developing, editing, and maintaining procedure documentation and internal manuals that support business operations and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate, consistent, and user-friendly documentation aligned with corporate branding and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and format internal manuals, policy documents, and procedure guides.
- Ensure documentation aligns with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Perform document audits and manage updates based on operational or regulatory changes.
- Maintain content in document libraries and web platforms using advanced MS Word functions.
- Review technical content for clarity, grammar, punctuation, structure, and consistency.
- Provide editing support, style guidance, and troubleshoot MS Word issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess documentation effort and ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in document layout formatting and ensure compliance with Wells Fargo branding and formatting templates.
- Conduct writing training for new team members and analysts.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of procedure or technical writing experience.
- Strong command of English grammar, editing rules, and familiarity with style guides like The Chicago Manual of Style.
- Advanced MS Word skills including table of contents, linking, and formatting tools.
- BA/MA in Communications, English, Literature, Technical Writing, or related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality documentation under tight deadlines.
