Role Overview
As a PreSales Private Cloud Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, positioning, and driving solutions that meet our clients’ private cloud transformation needs. You will collaborate with sales, technical, and delivery teams to build winning strategies, create compelling proposals, and articulate the value of our private cloud offerings to enterprise clients.
- Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand business and technical requirements for private cloud solutions.
- Develop and present architectural designs, solution proposals, and cost models.
- Partner with sales teams to drive pre-sales activities and create competitive advantage.
- Build strong client relationships, serving as a trusted technical advisor.
- Showcase NTT DATA’s private cloud capabilities through presentations, demos, and workshops.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solution roadmaps and delivery strategies.
- Stay updated with emerging private cloud technologies and recommend best practices to clients.
Skills & Attributes
- Deep knowledge of private cloud platforms (VMware, OpenStack, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and security.
- Proven experience in solution design, pre-sales, and client engagement.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in cloud architecture and pre-sales roles.
- Experience in engaging with enterprise clients across industries.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, OpenStack, Azure/AWS private cloud-related certs) are a plus.
