About the Role

We are looking for a skilled PL/SQL Developer with a background in Core Banking applications to join our team. This role involves working independently with some guidance to deliver high-quality technical solutions that align with Oracle methodologies and client expectations. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications, ensuring code quality, and supporting testing phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and develop application components in Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Write procedures, functions, triggers, and optimize complex SQL queries.
  • Conduct unit testing and support SIT/UAT during testing cycles.
  • Participate in design discussions and contribute to module-level design.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality processes, and change control procedures.
  • Use tools like Sonar for code review and utPLSQL for unit testing.
  • Develop and document programs based on specifications provided by Oracle/Client.
  • Provide technical support and ensure compliance with Oracle/Client audit and security requirements.

Mandatory Skills

  • 4 – 6 years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of procedures, triggers, functions, and query optimization.
  • Hands-on with code review tools (e.g., Sonar) and unit testing frameworks (utPLSQL).
  • Experience in Unix & shell scripting.
  • Basic understanding of webservices/RESTful APIs.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (preferred).

Good to Have

  • Experience in the Banking Domain.
  • Knowledge of Core Java, J2EE, and Webservices (REST services).
  • Awareness of latest banking technologies and trends.
  • Customer-facing experience in technical discussions.
