Join our Global Supplier Connectivity team as a Network Security Engineer, and play a vital role in delivering secure connectivity services to suppliers and trade partners across the globe. You will work with a dynamic and distributed team based in Valencia (Spain), Chennai (India), and Dearborn (USA). This role requires a deep understanding of network security, automation, and cloud-based remote access technologies like Zscaler and Prisma Access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Connectivity & Security Services:
    Deliver secure, scalable, and efficient global connectivity solutions for suppliers, ensuring SLA adherence.
  • Solution Design & Implementation:
    Translate business requirements into secure network solutions. Design and implement VPNs, firewall configurations, and remote access setups.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration:
    Coordinate with internal stakeholders, application owners, ISPs, cybersecurity teams, and network providers to deliver integrated connectivity services.
  • Security Audits & Compliance:
    Conduct firewall rule reviews, enforce least privilege policies, lead segmentation projects (micro-segmentation, ZTNA), and ensure compliance with internal and industry standards.
  • Monitoring & Logging:
    Implement tools and processes to log, monitor, and generate alerts for network activities and security events.
  • Service Metrics & Quality Improvement:
    Develop and maintain metrics to measure service performance and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Automation & Scripting:
    Lead automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, including scripting for network and security operations.
  • Incident Response & Support:
    Provide Tier-3 technical support, assist in incident investigation, and collaborate with threat response teams as needed.
  • Project Leadership:
    Coordinate network extranet projects and supervise team members or contractors when applicable.
Qualifications

Education & Language

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Networks or Computer Science (or related field).

  • Proficient in English (C1 level or above – verbal and written).

Core Competencies

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven leadership and conflict management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
Technical Skills & Experience (Required/Preferred)

Networking & Security:

    • Strong experience with TCP/IP, Ethernet networks, and IP protocols.

    • Hands-on expertise with Cisco ASA/Firepower, CSM, FMC, and Palo Alto technologies.

    • Firewall administration, segmentation, and ZTNA implementation.

    • IPSec VPN configuration, troubleshooting, and management.

Automation & Scripting:

  • Automation skills using scripting languages.

  • Exposure to network orchestration, virtualization, and API management.

Security Knowledge:

    • Deep understanding of Data Network Security and Zero Trust frameworks.

    • Awareness of compliance and industry security standards.

Tools & Platforms:

    • Experience with Zscaler, Prisma, Cisco, Palo Alto, or other enterprise security platforms.
