Position Overview
We are looking for a Mendix Application Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy low-code applications using the Mendix platform. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, integration with external systems, and participation in Agile delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using the Mendix platform
- Gather and analyze business requirements with stakeholders
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and application logic
- Develop data models, microflows, and page designs in Mendix
- Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using APIs and web services
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and stand-ups
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security standards
- Maintain technical documentation for applications
- Provide support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing solutions
Mandatory Skills
- Mendix Application Development
- Low-code Development Concepts
- Data Modeling, Microflows, and Page Design
- REST/SOAP API Integration
- Database Integration (SQL, Oracle, etc.)
Good to Have Skills
- Java / JavaScript programming
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Mendix Cloud)
- UI/UX Design Principles
- DevOps practices and CI/CD exposure
- Version control systems (Git, SVN)
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Mendix application development
- Mendix Rapid Developer certification (preferred)
- Mendix Advanced Developer certification (added advantage)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working in Agile team environments
