Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide expert legal advice, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and support the organization in managing risk effectively. The ideal candidate will review, draft, and negotiate agreements while acting as a trusted advisor on a wide range of legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Advise management and teams on legal risks and opportunities.
- Support dispute resolution, litigation, and external legal communications if required.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization.
- Collaborate with internal departments to implement risk management strategies.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) with strong academic background.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a corporate legal counsel or in a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise stakeholders at all levels.
- High ethical standards and sound judgment in legal decision-making.
