About the Role
As a Lead – Operations, you will oversee end-to-end warehouse, logistics, and inventory management while ensuring efficiency, compliance, and team performance. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership qualities who are eager to take ownership of operational excellence and lead high-performing teams across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics with minimal turnaround time (TAT).
- Oversee inventory accuracy and conduct regular stock audits.
- Implement best practices for space utilization and storage efficiency.
- Monitor and improve order fulfillment rates and customer service levels.
2. Team Leadership & Workforce Management
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to enhance efficiency.
- Manage manpower planning and shift allocations.
- Conduct training sessions on SOPs, safety, and compliance.
- Track team productivity with KPIs and performance metrics.
3. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to legal regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Implement EHS protocols and conduct periodic safety drills.
- Perform risk assessments and maintain compliance documentation.
- Support audit readiness with accurate reporting.
4. Leadership & People Management
- Lead and develop a high-performing operations team.
- Resolve conflicts and make data-driven decisions.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and team motivation.
5. Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Manage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP tools.
- Apply inventory control techniques (FIFO, LIFO, FEFO).
- Optimize demand forecasting and stock levels to reduce losses and improve efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management systems.
- Understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and ability to work in a multi-location, fast-paced environment.
