Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect with strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, AWS solutions, and microservices architecture to lead application development initiatives in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, guiding teams, engaging with clients, and ensuring high-quality solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead application design, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance in Agile development environments.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and document requirements with defined scope, set expectations, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Guide development teams on Java-based architectures and best practices.
  • Design and implement RESTful microservices using Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JPA, and MQ.
  • Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services: Amazon ECS, EC2, S3, API Gateway, Aurora, ALB, and Route 53.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, and manage deployments to production environments.
  • Ensure quality with JUnit, Cucumber, and application monitoring using tools like Splunk and APM solutions.
  • Work with GIT/Bitbucket for version control and manage Agile project tracking with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years in a solution/technical architect role.
  • Expertise in Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services/SOA.
  • Strong experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JPA, and RESTful services.
  • Hands-on expertise in AWS solution implementation and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud deployment.
  • Proficiency in JUnit, Cucumber, and monitoring tools (Splunk/APM).
  • Strong problem-solving, client interaction, and team leadership skills.
