Our client is looking for an experienced Embedded Tech Lead to lead and drive the development of embedded firmware for microcontroller/microprocessor-based systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in IoT, RTOS, and Linux-based development environments.
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (Work from Office)
Experience: 8 – 12 Years
Salary Range: ₹15,00,000 – ₹17,00,000 per annum
Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or Candidates with ≤15 Days’ Notice
Client: Hyptechie Client
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret hardware schematics and peripheral datasheets to design and implement firmware
- Lead and mentor a development team of 3–4 embedded engineers
- Manage board bring-up and perform hardware debugging
- Interface directly with clients for technical discussions and delivery alignment
- Ensure development of robust, optimized, and scalable embedded systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and QA
Educational Qualification:
- BE/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, E&C, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering
- MCA or equivalent also acceptable
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong hands-on expertise in C and Embedded Firmware Development
- Proficiency in Device Drivers, Serial Programming, and Debugging techniques
- Knowledge of Configuration Management tools and version control
- Solid design skills and experience managing technical documentation
Domain Experience (Required):
- C/C++ Programming on Linux
- Development for Microcontrollers and Microprocessors
- IoT protocol stack and device integration
- Experience with Bare Metal (No OS) and RTOS environments: FreeRTOS, Zephyr, TI-RTOS, etc.
- Linux Application and System Programming
