About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and lakehouse architecture. You’ll play a key role in developing scalable, secure, and cost-effective data ecosystems supporting real-time and batch analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and related services
- Develop logical and physical data models and architecture blueprints
- Architect data lakes/lakehouses and medallion models (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
- Implement real-time and batch data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory and Azure Data Factory
- Lead deployment of Power BI, Data Activator, Real-Time Analytics, and OneLake strategies
- Manage Fabric capacity, security models, and workspace configuration
- Implement data quality frameworks, data governance, and monitoring
- Optimize storage, performance, and cost across the data stack
Required Qualifications:
- 13–15 years overall experience, with 5+ years in data architecture
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services (ADF, Synapse, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB)
- Strong Power BI development/admin experience
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala
- Expertise with Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and medallion architecture
- Knowledge of Azure DataBricks, EventHub, and IoT streaming
- Familiarity with data governance tools (Purview, Unity Catalog)
- Experience with Fabric Real-Time Analytics, Data Activator, OneLake
- Skilled in Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for data projects
- Knowledge of containerization/orchestration technologies
