Position Overview

Role: Consultant

Experience: 3–5 years in IT Development

Education: Engineering Graduate / B.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Science or equivalent

Purpose of the Role

To develop and maintain software modules as per design specifications, perform detailed design or impact analysis, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery of allocated tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer requirements and perform detailed design of assigned modules.
  • Support Analysts & Designers in module analysis, design, and preparation of integration test plans.
  • Develop code as per approved design, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Deliver allocated tasks on time with high quality and minimal rework.
  • Support integration testing, system testing, and defect resolution.
  • Conduct peer reviews to ensure code quality and reusability.
  • Participate in customer calls and provide timely status updates.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to learning initiatives.
  • Guide junior developers and provide mentorship where required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong software development experience (3–5 years).
  • Ability to translate requirements into technical design and quality code.
  • Familiarity with integration testing and defect management.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to coding best practices, standards, and reusability.
