Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled FinOps Specialist to manage and optimize cloud financial operations across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Apptio Cloudability, a solid understanding of cloud billing structures, and a proven ability to implement cost optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Cloudability dashboards, reports, and integrations for comprehensive visibility into cloud spend.
  • Integrate Azure and GCP billing data into Cloudability to enable accurate cost allocation and reporting.
  • Assist with the migration of legacy cloud billing processes and tools into Cloudability, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Continuously monitor cloud usage and spending patterns, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with cloud providers.
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making.
  • Generate showback/chargeback reports for business units and cost centers.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Procurement teams to align financial and technical goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Apptio Cloudability for cloud cost management.
  • Strong understanding of Azure and GCP billing structures and cost management tools.
  • Certified FinOps Practitioner certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
