Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer – Backend with strong expertise in Java microservices and cloud-native development. The role focuses on building scalable backend systems using modern Java frameworks, Kafka-based messaging, and cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, following Agile and DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain cloud-native microservices architectures
- Implement event-driven systems using Kafka
- Perform monolith-to-microservices migration
- Develop and manage REST APIs and backend frameworks
- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability
- Work with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE)
- Collaborate in Agile teams and participate in sprint activities
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and architectural decisions
Mandatory Skills

Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise or web application development
- 8+ years of hands-on Java backend development experience
- 5+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Strong experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Rally, or similar
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
