About the Job 

This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications while supporting critical Clearing & Settlement systems within DTCC. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, resilient, and modern cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities 

  • Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures and select appropriate cloud services.
  • Develop cloud-native applications using microservices, containers (Docker), and serverless technologies.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and automated deployment.
  • Build APIs, integrate cloud storage/databases, and ensure performance, scalability, and security.
  • Write backend and frontend application code aligned with cloud development best practices.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, DBAs, and product teams; prior hybrid cloud migration experience is a plus.

Required Qualifications & Experience 

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred).
  • Strong experience with AWS / Azure / GCP cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with server-side Java, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Camel.
  • Experience designing and optimizing relational & NoSQL databases.
  • Solid understanding of cloud compute, storage, serverless, networking, and security practices.

Preferred Skills

  • Frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Hands-on microservices and containerization experience (Docker).
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
  • Strong API development and integration skills.
  • Experience setting up monitoring, logging, and CI/CD pipelines.
