About the Role:

We are looking for a Cloud Administrator with hands-on experience in VMware, cloud infrastructure management (Azure/AWS), and enterprise server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining cloud platforms, virtual machines, and key server roles critical to enterprise operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage VMware infrastructure, including the creation and configuration of virtual machines.
  • Manage public and hybrid cloud environments including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Perform cloud migrations and ensure smooth transitions between on-prem and cloud-based infrastructures.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MS SQL Servers, and Print Servers.
  • Monitor and maintain network and system performance, availability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and implement resolutions with minimal downtime.
  • Ensure regular backups, system patches, and compliance with IT policies.
  • Work with various network protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, RDP, TCP/IP, and SSL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and support requests.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in cloud administration and VMware virtualization.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent cloud service providers.
  • Experience with cloud migration projects and hybrid infrastructure management.
  • Proficient in managing enterprise-level Windows Server environments.
  • Understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance and access issues across cloud and virtual systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or VMware VCP.
  • Experience in scripting for automation using PowerShell or Bash.
  • Exposure to cloud monitoring tools, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps concepts is a plus.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies in cloud environments.
