Key Deliverables
- Product Portfolio Management: Oversee current product range to ensure optimal SKU and brand efficiency, including SKU rationalization and product life cycle management.
- Innovation Pipeline: Manage and deliver product innovation aligned with brand strategy and consumer insights.
- Project Management: Drive innovation projects with cross-functional teams from concept to execution.
- Packaging Development: Manage current and new product packaging in collaboration with regulatory, supply chain, and creative agencies.
- Strategic Planning: Lead product planning, strategy development, execution, control, and evaluation for the portfolio.
- Marketing Coordination: Develop marketing and strategic plans in partnership with the marketing team, covering innovation, communications, and advertising activities.
- Market Insights: Identify trends and insights to initiate growth opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Research & Data Analysis: Review and analyze research and shopper data to identify opportunities, deliver strategic insight projects, and develop in-store and on-shelf strategies.
- Sales Collaboration: Work with sales teams to set and execute promotional initiatives in the market.
- Performance Review: Prepare and present brand performance reports and review presentations regularly.
Candidate Profile
- Education: MBA/PGDM from Tier II or Tier III institutes.
- Experience: 2–4 years post-MBA experience in sales and marketing, with at least 1–2 years in the wood finish category.
- Industry Experience: Mandatory experience in category/product/brand management within the paint industry through project sales channels.
