Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between client needs and technical solutions. The role involves gathering requirements, creating functional specifications, performing feasibility studies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, communication expertise, and experience working across multiple domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Act as a consultant, identifying client needs and suggesting innovative solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new products and services.
- Ensure requirements are practical and aligned with business goals while presenting solutions to stakeholders.
- Prepare functional documents such as BRDs/FSDs with detailed business process flows.
- Prototype requirements and generate wireframes.
- Perform Gap Analysis between current and proposed systems.
- Create Delta (change requirement) documents and manage the change control process.
- Work closely with design, development, QA, and system teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify, analyze, and report key risks during requirement gathering and testing phases.
Must-Have Skills
- Ability to translate high-level or vague requirements into actionable functional/technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of wireframing tools and mock-up development technologies.
- Basic knowledge of UX methodologies and ability to provide user-centric solutions.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a passion for converting ambiguity into concrete outcomes.
Preferred Domain Knowledge
- Expertise in any one of the following: Travel, E-/M-Commerce, Finance, Media & Entertainment.
- Willingness to learn and work across multiple domains.
