Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Backend Python Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and extending APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF) and will contribute to the design and development of scalable backend systems for both consumer-facing and internal applications.

The role demands strong backend development skills, a clear understanding of API design, and a collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Python and DRF.
  • Develop new modules and features for web applications based on technical and business requirements.
  • Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of applications.
  • Analyze requirements and translate them into high-quality functional solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization using Git.
  • Work with containerized environments (Docker).
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in backend web development using Python.
  • Strong experience with Django Rest Framework and RESTful API development.
  • Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with Python testing frameworks such as pytest and mock.
  • Good understanding of asynchronous programming concepts.
  • Experience with large data ingestion and processing.
  • Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Basic DevOps knowledge including bash/shell scripting.
  • Experience working with Dockerized applications.
