Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Engineer with strong expertise in web and mobile test automation using Selenium and Appium with Java. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing automation frameworks, API testing, and working in Agile/DevOps environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium and Appium with Java.
- Design and implement robust automation frameworks to support regression and functional testing.
- Conduct SOAP UI or REST API testing, including test case design, data creation, and authentication validation.
- Analyze system design and contribute to test planning and strategy.
- Create test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts; execute scripts and perform accessibility testing.
- Query and validate data using SQL, JSON, and XML.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure quality delivery.
- Apply DevOps practices for continuous testing and integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years in automation testing with a focus on Selenium and Appium using Java.
- Strong Core Java programming skills with at least 3 years in automation projects.
- Hands-on experience designing and building automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in SOAP UI or REST API testing.
- Good understanding of system architecture and design principles.
- Moderate experience with SQL, JSON, and XML for validation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in Agile methodology and familiarity with DevOps practices.
