Job Description

The Associate Market Manager will work closely with the Market Manager to drive sales growth in Bangalore, India. The role focuses on strengthening the MillerKnoll dealer network, identifying new sales opportunities, and building strong relationships with architects, designers, and end-user clients. The successful candidate will act as a product champion, ensuring MillerKnoll solutions are specified in key projects while actively pursuing new business opportunities and supporting brand visibility across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed allocated sales and margin targets across all product categories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, ensuring commitment to MillerKnoll solutions.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts by product group and detailed insights on major projects.
  • Support marketing activities and ensure local alignment with brand objectives.
  • Engage with architects and designers to expand sales opportunities and project specifications.
  • Target end users to create new business opportunities, channeling sales through the dealer network.
  • Deliver field training to customers and dealer sales teams on product knowledge and positioning.
  • Represent MillerKnoll at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university; Engineering or MBA preferred.
  • 3–4 years of proven sales experience, ideally in furniture, building materials, or related industries.
  • Experience working with multinational organizations is an advantage.

Competencies & Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent presentation ability.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, MS Office applications, and Salesforce.
  • Strong numerical skills for preparing quotations and forecasts.
  • Culturally aware with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
