Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Information Security Specialist to join our growing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. This entry-level position plays a vital role in managing customer assurance activities, maintaining internal compliance documentation, and supporting broader GRC operations. Key Responsibilities
Customer Assurance
- Coordinate and respond to customer security and compliance questionnaires, working cross-functionally with Legal, Sales, Security, and Engineering.
- Maintain and update customer-facing documentation, including security whitepapers, FAQs, and certifications.
- Ensure accurate, timely delivery of security materials to support customer trust and transparency.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Manage and maintain the GRC SharePoint site for easy internal access to security materials.
- Work closely with audit and policy teams to keep evidence and compliance records up to date.
- Create and maintain internal documentation and knowledge base articles to support scalable and repeatable operations.
Operational Support
- Assist in tracking and closing action items tied to security reviews and compliance initiatives.
- Support the team with reports, dashboards, and stakeholder presentations.
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimize documentation workflows and improve efficiency.
- Assist in executing the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) process.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in GRC, cybersecurity, customer support, compliance, or a related field.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across time zones, including with North America-based teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or NIST.
- Experience responding to customer security questionnaires, RFPs, or vendor risk assessments.
- Knowledge of cloud/SaaS environments.
- Exposure to GRC tools (e.g., Vanta, SecurityPal, OneTrust).
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, GRCP, CISA, or equivalent.
