About the Role

As the Associate Director – Product (Wealth | Investor Platform), you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution for Upstox’s investor-first platform. You’ll shape how millions of Indians invest across Stocks, Mutual Funds, IPOs, and Fixed Income products — building intuitive, customer-centric experiences that make investing simple, delightful, and impactful. This is a high-ownership leadership role, blending product vision, data-driven decision-making, and people leadership to define the future of wealth at Upstox.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the long-term product vision for the investor platform, aligning with customer needs and business goals.
• Roadmap Leadership: Build, prioritise, and execute the roadmap with a strong focus on scalability, quality, and speed.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate closely with design, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to deliver seamless launches and continuous improvements.
• Customer-Centric Innovation: Champion the customer’s voice — transforming insights into intuitive, impactful product experiences.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a team of talented Product Managers to drive performance and accountability.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics, experimentation, and user research to validate hypotheses, measure outcomes, and iterate effectively.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate product strategy and priorities clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment and shared success.

Who You Are

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years in a product leadership role.
• Proven track record of building and scaling B2C products — experience in fintech or investments is highly preferred.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset — you can both craft the vision and drive execution.
• Strong customer empathy with a passion for simplifying complex problems.
• Highly analytical — comfortable using data and experimentation to guide decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — you can simplify complexity and inspire alignment.
• Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a bias for action.
• Possess a founder’s mindset — ownership, urgency, and obsession with outcomes.
