Role Overview
We are looking for a talented Android Developer with a strong background in Java and Android SDK to design, develop, and maintain innovative mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in building scalable Android apps, knowledge of mobile UI best practices, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performing code for complex engineering challenges.
- Perform unit testing for robustness, usability, and overall reliability.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and architects to create seamless integration solutions.
- Follow coding standards, best practices, and project guidelines.
- Develop high-quality front-end/UI patterns for Android devices.
- Deploy and distribute apps via enterprise channels or Google Play Store.
- Stay updated with the latest Android technologies, frameworks, and trends.
Must-Have Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in Android development.
- Strong object-oriented design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/J2ME).
- Excellent knowledge of Android SDK and the Android app development lifecycle.
- Proficiency with SQLite, MySQL, or other database management systems.
- Hands-on experience with Eclipse IDE (Android Studio knowledge is a plus).
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design guidelines and best practices.
- Experience in publishing and distributing apps via enterprise channels or public app stores.
- Proficiency in working with dynamic data (JSON, XML, AMF) via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
