Candidate Salary Range: ₹1,00,000 – ₹3,50,000
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative AutoCAD Designer to create accurate technical drawings and plans. The role requires collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality 2D and 3D designs across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with engineering, architectural, and project teams to understand project requirements.
- Modify and revise existing drawings to accommodate design changes.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and guidelines.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.
- Conduct field/site visits to gather measurements or verify dimensions.
- Assist in preparing BOM (Bill of Materials), assembly drawings, and documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering (or related field).
- 1+ years of proven experience as AutoCAD Designer/Draughtsman.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of additional design software such as Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp is a plus.
- Certification in AutoCAD software preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of local construction/design codes and standards.
- Industry-specific experience (e.g., HVAC, architecture, mechanical components, electrical layout).
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
